How do I join Jersey City Masters Swimming?

To become a member, you have the option to pay a monthly charge of $150. Potential members can also pay a Season Pass (9/17-12/19) for $400. Payments can be made via Zelle to club@swimstars.biz (our partner).

Do I need to be a member of USMS (U.S. Masters Swimming) to participate?

No, you do not need to be a USMS swimmer to participate in team practices. However, if you would like to compete in USMS-sanctioned meets & events, you will need to become a member of USMS.

Is there a trial period or can I try out a practice before committing?

Yes, each swimmer is allowed a trial session to see whether Jersey City Masters Swimming is a good fit.

Can I just drop in for practice, or do I need to register in advance

Yes, swimmers can drop in for $20 per session. Payments can be made via zelle to club@swimstarts.biz (our partner) on the day of practice. Please include swimmer’s name and “Masters Team” in the description.
